8th February 2025 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: light airs Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: 7 Sea Temperature: Weather: Gloomy with light winds Max Speed: Distance Covered: Saturday 8th February - walks * – Around Felixstowe – gloomy with light winds. Another gloomy day here in Felixstowe but at least the chilly wind from yesterday has gone! So another day with no plans, we don’t often go far at the weekend anyway, Mag was non-stop continuing to sand our front door then got her little chainsaw out and attacked the icy near our garage while I did my exercises. I made yummy cheese on toast before we set of on the days walk, down to the prom which was very crowded despite the gloomy day, in fact you couldn’t see Essex across the water! Around the pier we continued to Beach Road leading to Langer Park, a quick trip round Lidl and home for a cuppa. Good day for sport too with Ipswich Town scoring 4 goals away from home in the FA cup, fingers crossed they can take that form back to the league, after a slow first half the game comes arrive in the second half with England beating France in the dying seconds!
